The Central Hospital of Huzhou

The Central Hospital of Huzhou

Hospital Overview :

Huzhou Central Hospital (湖州中心医院), also known as the Northern Zhejiang Medical Center or Zhebei Medical Centre, is a 1,500-bed tertiary general hospital in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.

The new campus opened in 2020.
The hospital’s leading clinical field is hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery — surgery of the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts and pancreas — alongside orthopaedics, neurosurgery and haematology. Huzhou is in northern Zhejiang province, between Shanghai and Hangzhou, and both cities have international airports. Cikitsa International arranges the China medical visa, appointments and travel from Dhaka.

Why Choose This Hospital :

Huzhou Central Hospital is one of the largest medical institutions serving northern Zhejiang and surrounding regions. Its expanded campus was developed to meet growing demand for advanced inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, surgical, and emergency services.

The facility has 1,500 beds, an outpatient capacity of approximately 6,000 patients per day, extensive green space, and purpose-built areas for medical treatment, diagnostics, administration, patient support, and family services.

The hospital was designed as a patient-centred “hospital in a park.” Natural light, landscaped courtyards, waterfront areas, rehabilitation gardens, pedestrian zones, and accessible internal routes were incorporated to create a calmer healthcare environment.

An automated waste and soiled-linen collection network operates around the clock. It uses separate pipe systems to handle approximately three tonnes of general waste and nine tonnes of soiled linen daily. This reduces manual transportation, elevator congestion, secondary contamination, and potential cross-infection.

The hospital also operates intensive-care facilities and provides teaching and training support for several universities and medical institutions.
