Shalby Hospitals is an Indian multispecialty healthcare network founded by orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Vikram Shah in 1994. It began as a six-bed joint-replacement centre and later developed into a group providing tertiary healthcare across several Indian cities.
The group currently operates 11 multispecialty tertiary hospitals and five Shalby Orthopaedics Centres of Excellence. Its combined capacity exceeds 2,350 beds, and its healthcare programmes cover orthopaedics, cardiac sciences, oncology, neurosciences, transplantation, critical care, gastroenterology, women’s health, and other disciplines.
Shalby is particularly recognised for knee and hip replacement. The group reported completing more than 175,000 joint-replacement procedures by early 2025.
