Apollo Proton Cancer Centre is a specialised cancer hospital located in Chennai, India. Inaugurated in January 2019, the 150-bed centre was developed to provide comprehensive cancer care through medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, advanced diagnostics, and supportive services.
The centre describes itself as the first proton-therapy facility in South Asia and the Middle East and India’s first JCI-accredited cancer hospital. Its integrated clinical model brings together specialists from different oncology disciplines to evaluate each case and prepare an individualised treatment strategy.
Cancer Management Teams form the foundation of its treatment approach. Depending on the diagnosis, these teams may include medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, rehabilitation professionals, and other specialists.
Cikitsa International can assist Bangladeshi patients with medical-report submission, specialist selection, expert-opinion requests, appointment arrangements, treatment estimates, admission coordination, and travel preparation for receiving cancer treatment in Chennai.
